Scalability: A single storage cluster can be configured up to eight petabytes, all seen as a single file system view. This level of scalability will handle the largest collections of digital content.
Consistently High Performance: Each storage node has the network bandwidth (up to 20 Gigabits/sec.), cache memory (up to 64 Gigabytes), and processing power (two quad-core Xeon ® CPU’s) to deliver high levels of performance under the heaviest workloads. Tests have verified a maximum throughput of 1.2 gigabytes per second per node. The cluster architecture ensures that performance remains consistent as capacity is added.
Easy Expansion: As content is added and additional storage capacity is needed, additional storage nodes are simply added to the cluster.
Protection for Mission Critical Content: Exponential Storage has built-in the capabilities to ensure that critical content is always available when needed and is protected against unauthorized access and tampering.
